The 4th World
Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention Canada Founding & Development
Society (WCEC) strives to continue the spirit of promoting business,
investment, and economic developments in Canada and its global
partners. The WCEC has held many business initiatives since its
inception, cultivating networks to develop between entrepreneurs of
different origins in Vancouver and Canada. One such initiative is
promoting entrepreneurial awards to new Immigrants that have
established a successful business in Canada. In order to continually
contribute and improve the society around it, the WCEC has created the
World Chinese Entrepreneurs Scholarship Program to award outstanding
young achievers who need financial help and who deserve further
encouragement.
As a leader in our community, we would like to invite you to
participate in this program. Attached is an information sheet with
donation procedures and details. Donors will be properly recognized to
the amounts in which they have contributed. If you are interested in
participating, please fill in the attached Donor Contribution Form.
We sincerely hope that you will consider supporting this worthwhile

Notes:
(1) Each donor will have scholarship(s) named after him/her and/or
his/her company and/or be anonymous and/or in memory of someone.
(2)Each donor is encouraged to
sponsor at least two Academic and Community Service and Leadership
Awards at $1,000 each (one award for high school student and one award
for post-secondary student) and
one Special Talents and Community Leadership Award at $2,000 each for a
total of $4,000 OR
one each of all three types of Scholarship Award above if possible
(total $6,000), OR
higher amount if donor wish.
(3) WCEC will inform donor of chosen recipient(s) of donor’s
scholarship(s) and donor will make cheque(s) out directly to
recipient(s) (may be in joint name with WCEC for company tax write-off
as business promotion) and give cheque(s) to WCEC. Recipient(s) will be
chosen by the screening committee, donor welcome to participate in the
initial screening of his/her scholarship(s).
(4) WCEC will include note inside envelope containing cheque for each
recipient requesting recipient to write and send a thank-you note to
donor for scholarship
